serious question: do anime cons not have any rules in place about this sort of thing? fanart is one thing, but outright stealing images made by someone else…?
Some of the larger cons do, ones that require tax ein’s to sell and a temporary tax license are usually on it.
Also major comicon’s catch a lot of flak from the ip holders if it happens to often so they patrol as well.
